Do Restaurants Make Smithtown a Destination? [Poll]

You'd be hard-pressed to find a section of the Town of Smithtown without a restaurant.

A trip down Main Street alone reveals an array of international cuisines, from  at the to  at ,  at to  at and more. Leave Main Street and you'll find a number of top-rated eateries, including and , .  

Some local business owners have claimed that , while other business owners say . Even a past town council hopeful said if elected he would make Smithtown .

Could the abundance of restaurants in Smithtown be the attraction that draws people in from other towns and keep residents here? Or does the town need more or different types of attractions to become a destination?
