Mentalist Terry Parett has designed an interactive show for Nesaquake Middle School Students on Monday, 7:30 p.m. All proceeds will benefit the Smithtown College Scholarship Committee. Tickets are $10 at the door. 

Election Day - Smithtown Schools are Closed
Head to voting booths to cast your ballot for Smithtown's elected officials including town supervisor, two town board seats and town highway superintendent. Smithtown students will have the day off from classes due to superintendent's conferences.

Introduction to Breastfeeding
Expecting mothers can meet with Mary Kahrs of CFA at Babies R Us in Lake Grove at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday to learn about the hows and whys of breastfeeding. Call in advance to register. 

Adult Writers Group
Working on a book or poem? Join the Smithtown Adults Writer Group on Tuesdays, 7 p.m. at the Main Branch of the Smithtown Public Library. Bring samples, approximately a 5 minute reading, of your work to share and receive criticism. 

Smithtown Planning Board 
The Town of Smithtown's Planning Board will host a public meeting 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Eugene A. Cannataro Senior Citizen Center at 420 Middle Country Road in Smthtown. Watch Patch this week to find out what issues are on their agenda. 

Blood Drive 
Branch Brook Elementary School is hosting a blood drive this Thursday night starting at 4 p.m. Give the gift of life and give back to the community.
