In May, the consignment shop, which donates the bulk of its proceeds to research into curing multiple sclerosis, moved into a larger space on Lake Avenue in St. James after only a year in a smaller shop down the road.
The store recently donated $60,000 for the Stony Brook Research Foundation.
The shop is owned by Filomenia Lombardi, whose family owns several restaurants and caterers on Long Island.
