  2. Commack resident Jessica Gonzalez, 19, died on Sunday, Sept. 18, in a crash on the Southern State Parkway, near exit 40. According to police reports, her 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe struck a guide rail. Gonzalez was ejected from the car and was pronounced dead at the scene. (Smithtown Matters)
