  1. Monday, Jan. 3, at approximately 3:45 p.m., a man entered Citibank, located at 710 Larkfield Road in East Northport and allegedly handed an employee a note threatening violence and demanding money. The teller complied and the man fled on foot. The man is white and was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt under a dark colored jacket.   2. Lily Tamburo, East Setauket child stage actress, took a hiatus from her role in the Broadway musical “Mrs. Doubtfire” to perform last month on live television in NBC’s musical production “Annie Live!” It was an opportunity of a lifetime! The 11-year-old Lily played an orphan alongside the lead character Annie, played by Celina Smith, 12. (Greater Long Island)
  3. New York had the third-highest exodus rate in 2020 at 66.9 percent. The most common reason for leaving the state was family at 29.4 percent.
