1. The Smithtown Robotics team wowed students at the Dogwood Elementary School Wednesday for a little show and tell! Through the national organization FIRST, the robotics team, East and West HS students, spent six weeks designing and building their robot. The team encouraged kids to join the robotics team when they are old enough, as it will help build their problem solving skills. (Smithtown Matters)
2. Officer Scott Fowler of the SCPD Fourth Precinct visited his daughter's kindergarten class Wednesday at Mills Pond Elementary School. 4. According to a news release, starting on Friday, FLIP Circus is set to hit Smith Haven Mall in Lake Grove for a week-and-a-half. The show's theme, "enduring human spirit", was created by the Vazquez family to celebrate the American circus tradition.
