1. Suffolk County will host a job fair Tuesday in Selden. The One-Stop Employment Center event will run from 10 a.m. to noon, at the Middle Country Public Library, 575 Middle Country Rd. Advanced registration is required. (Subscription: Newsday)
2. Kristian Falterman, a Selden man was arrested Thursday and charged with two counts of Robbery 1st Degree and one count of Robbery 3rd Degree for three robberies in Huntington Station. (HuntingtonNow)

Bean's Bagels in St. James, a modern bagel shop, is open for business Monday - Sunday. “My baker [Charlie] is just incredible, he does some crazy stuff,” the owner, Bean's Budani said. “He’s an older guy from Brooklyn, so he’s been making bagels, pastries, this and that, since he was 11 years old. He’s an old-school dude from Williamsburg.” Budani said the St. James community has welcomed the new bagel joint with open arms and that operating on busy Lake Avenue has been ideal. 4. BoxLunch, a store that features apparel, accessories, collectables and home and kitchen goods with favorite pop culture characters, is coming to the Smith Haven Mall! Celebrate the grand opening at 10 a.m. on Feb. 5 and at noon on Feb. 6. The first 50 guests each day will receive mystery gift cards worth up to $100.
