St. James Chamber Selects St. Patrick’s Day Parade Grand Marshall
Judge Jack Toomey will be the grand marshall for the 2012 St. Patrick's Day Parade.

Riding in a classic car and waving to locals as grand marshall for the 28th Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade will be Judge Jack Toomey.
Toomey, a lifelong resident of Smithtown and St. James, was selected by the St. James Chamber of Commerce board of directors to be the grand marshall for the parade.
The parade is set for March 17 starting at 1 p.m. on Lake Avenue.

Toomey is a Smithtown Central High School graduate from the class of 1965 and an Army veteran, serving from 1966 to 1968, receiving two Bronze Stars. After graduating from Stony Brook University in 1972 and continuing to law school until 1976 he formed and practiced at a law practice on Main Street in Smithtown for more than 25 years. Toomey has also been active member of the St. James Fire Department for more than 30 years.
