Teenager Stabbed In Suffolk: Police
The teenager was stabbed when he tried to intervene during a fight between a small group outside a mall, police say.
LAKE GROVE, NY — A teenager was stabbed Saturday night in Lake Grove, Suffolk police said.
A 16-year-old male was stabbed when he tried to intervene in a fight between a small group of people on the sidewalk outside of the food court at the Smith Haven Mall, at 1 Smith Haven Mall, around 7:55 p.m., police said.
The teenager was brought to a local hospital in stable condition for treatment of injuries that are not life-threatening, police said. Another 16-year-old male was brought to a local hospital for minor injuries suffered during the fight, police said.
