Window Stops Work at Soon-To-Be Deli
Owner of the deli says work was stopped because of a window he wants to install that has not yet been approved.

A stop work order has been issued by the Town of Smithtown at the former home of  on West Main Street, the soon-to-be home of Nino's Delicatessen.
The stop work order, according to deli owner Anthony Garofalo, is only for work done on the building's exterior because of a variance needed to install a window.
"[Work was stopped] only on the outside because I need a variance for a window. I'm trying to put a side window up on the side of the building and it didn't get approved yet. I thought it did," he said.Â

Garofalo said he would meet with the state code official and the work stoppage could be rectified as soon as Thursday.
