Here are the top stories in Southampton today:

1. On Thursday night a pedestrian, David Humberto-Amaya, 33, was struck and died in a Riverside hit-and-run. 911 calls came in about a man struck by a driver on Flanders Road near Old Quogue Road; the driver fled the scene, police said. Southampton Town detectives have asked that anyone who has information on the Riverside hit-and-run to call 631-702-2230. (Southampton Patch)
2. A Northampton man, Jose Hernandez, 39, turned himself in to the Southampton Town Police and was charged with first-degree rape and endangering the welfare of a child. The investigation of the 2017 case, claiming Hernandez engaged in sexual conduct with a child under the age of 17, lead to his arrest. (Southampton Patch)
3. Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest of a man who stole more than $2,000 worth of Makita tools from a Cedar Designs van in Quogue in December. The crime took place at 2 Quogue Plaza Trail on Dec. 20 at 8:07 p.m., police said. Anyone with information about the incident can contact Suffolk County Crime Stoppers to submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-220-TIPS. (Southampton Patch)
