Man Shot In West Harlem, Police Say

HARLEM, NY — A man was shot twice in Harlem on Wednesday night, and the shooter is still on the loose, New York City Police Department officials said.

According to the NYPD, the 26-year-old victim was hanging out with friends in front of 1 Saint Nicholas Terrace in West Harlem around 9 p.m. Tuesday when an unknown perpetrator fired at him twice, grazing him in the left arm and hitting him in the left leg.

Medics rushed the victim to Mount Sinai Morningside hospital and the perpetrator ran away in an unknown direction, police said.

Police said they do not have information on the victim's condition.
