2nd Annual Inwood Thanksgiving Turkey Trot: What To Know
For the second year in a row, The Inwood Farm is organizing a 5k run in the neighborhood on Thanksgiving. Here's what to know.

INWOOD, NY — Families have all sorts of different traditions on Thanksgiving, and you could add a new one to your holiday with the 2nd Annual Inwood Hill Turkey Trot.
For the second year in a row, The Inwood Farm is organizing and hosting a 5K run in the neighborhood on the morning of Thanksgiving.
The run will kick off on Nov. 25 at 9 a.m. at the 218th Street entrance of Inwood Hill Park. You can choose to either participate in the timed run or walk category.

For those who do sign up, you can pick up a bib and shirt at The Inwood Farm on Nov. 25 from 2 to 9 p.m., and on Thanksgiving morning from 6 to 7:30 a.m.
The Inwood Farm is located at 600 West 218th Street.

The price for adults to participate is $40 (shirt included). Kids 12 and under can run for $10. The proceeds benefit the Inwood Food Pantry.
There is not yet a detailed route for the run but it will go through Inwood Hill Park. The owner of The Inwood Farm did say he would share the route for the trot by the end of next week.
