WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, NY — A Business Improvement District looks to be in the works for a stretch of Broadway in Washington Heights.

Community League of the Heights (CLOTH), along with other uptown stakeholders, is leading an effort to form a BID on Broadway between 155th and 178th streets.

A BID is a geographical area where local stakeholders oversee and fund the maintenance, improvement, and promotion of their commercial district.
