New Neapolitan Pizza Spot Opening In Washington Heights
Pizza Heights is opening in the former home of Gourmet Deli at West 182nd Street and Wadsworth Avenue.

WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, NY — The neighborhood is getting a new pizza spot as Pizza Heights is opening soon at West 182nd Street and Wadsworth Avenue.
The pizzeria is opening directly next to Burger Heights, which is under the same ownership.
The exact opening date isn't announced yet, but a recent post on Pizza Heights' Instagram page shows that the pies are already being made.

Pizza Heights is replacing the longtime Gourmet Deli.
Construction has been going on at the location since the summer of 2021.

The new storefront also indicates that Pizza Heights will sell coffee and pastries.
There is no menu on Pizza Heights' Instagram.
"Oooh Neopitian pizza," uptowner Annette Fernandez wrote on Facebook. "I'm down for that as long as they are good members of our community. So exciting!"
Pizza Heights will join an Upper Manhattan pizza community that includes Fresco's Pizzeria, George's Pizzaria, Grandpa's Pizza, Flaco's Pizza, and Exclusive Pizza — to name a few of the most popular spots.
