Smoothie And Juice Store Opens In Washington Heights: What To Know
Pure Green opened its doors last week at 4026 St. Nicholas Ave., near West 169th Street. It has smoothies, acai bowls, toasts, and more.

WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, NY — There is officially a new option in Washington Heights for smoothies, juices, and other tasty creations after Pure Green opened in the neighborhood last week.
Pure Green opened Aug. 12 at 4026 St. Nicholas Ave., which is in between West 168th and 169th streets.
The national chain's menu is broken down into smoothies, acai bowls, oatmeal bowls, toasts, juices, and cleanses.

"We source the most nutrient-rich superfoods on the planet and we formulate them into products with unparalleled taste," reads Pure Green's website. "Pure Green superfood smoothies are handcrafted, made-to-order and formulated with the highest quality superfood ingredients."

- Pure Green: kale, spinach, mango, banana, pineapple, coconut water
- Mocha Cold Brew: cold brew coffee, cacao, almond butter, banana, whey protein, almond milk
- Blue Royale: blueberries, almond butter, coconut, whey protein, almond milk
- Pure Berry: blueberries, strawberries, banana, whey protein, coconut water
The prices are not included on the website, but a Washington Heights resident said she paid a little over $10 for a Pina Colada smoothie with coconut butter, pineapple and coconut water that was "delicious."
Pure Green has more than 40 locations nationwide and operates in 13 states.
