Washington Heights' Dutch Baby Bakery To Start Selling Flowers
A local resident will start selling flowers from a newly opened bakery in Washington Heights. Here's what to know.
WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, NY — A recently opened bakery in Washington Heights will start selling flowers from a local resident.
Dutch Baby Bakery, which opened at at 813 W. 187th St. in mid-December, is partnering with Flowers with Emily to start selling blossoms on Fridays, the florist announced.
"Introducing Flower Fridays at Dutch Baby Bakery from Flowers with Emily!" reads a description on Flowers with Emily's website. "Emily will be sourcing the freshest & prettiest blooms from the NYC flower market."

Customers can preorder and pick up buds, greenery and wrapped bouquets at Dutch Baby during bakery hours, said the florist.
A small bud vase goes for $15, a medium wrapped bouquet with no vase costs $35, a large wrapped bouquet with no vase is $75, and a special occasion bouquet in a vase costs $150.

Emily has lived in Upper Manhattan for six years and has been a floral designer for 15 years.
Dutch Baby opened its first storefront on Dec. 15, but has sold and shipped specialty cakes, cookies, holiday pies, specialty breads, and more to its uptown neighbors for over five years.
Local businesses like Buunni Coffee in Inwood sell their creations.
The bakery is owned and operated by pastry chef Karah Rempe, and specialized in seasonal breakfast pastries, tarts, cakes, and artisanal bread.
