Jefferson Valley Mall To Host Holiday-Related Blood Drives

Winter months are always a difficult time for the blood supply, with school breaks and inclement weather.

YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, NY — The New York Blood Center and the Jefferson Valley Mall will host four holiday themed blood drives from now through March.

The blood drives will celebrate National Blood Donor Month, Valentine’s Day, Presidents Day and St. Patrick’s Day.

As a partner of the blood center for more than 20 years, the Jefferson Valley Mall started sponsoring monthly blood drives in the second half of 2021, which contributed 40 to 50 blood donations per month.
