Lake Peekskill Man, 22, Charged with DWI in Yorktown

A 22-year-old Lake Peekskill man has been charged with drunken driving along with other offenses, Yorktown police said. 

Mark C. Lowe's vehicle was stopped on Dec. 28, 2012 at approximately 2:47 a.m. on Route 6 for operating a vehicle with less than two lighted headlamps, police said.

Investigation revealed Lowe was driving drunk.

He was charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor; having a blood alcohol level of .08 percent or more, a misdemeanor; driving with less than two working headlamps, a traffic infraction. 

The man was scheduled to appear in Yorktown Town Hall on Feb. 12.
