From the town of Yorktown: Town offices will be closed on Monday, Jan. 21 in recognition of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. There will not be kitchen trash or recycling collections. The following holiday schedule will be followed: <ul> <li>"Monday and Thursday" trash collections will be on Tuesday, Jan. 22 and Thursday, Jan. 24</li> <li>"Tuesday and Friday's" collections will be on Wednesday, Jan. 23 and Friday, Jan. 25.</li> <li>In regard to Recycling Collection, Sections 1 and 7 will be on Tuesday, Jan. 22 and Section 6 will have recycling on Wednesday, Jan. 23.</li> </ul>
