YORKTOWN, NY — Need something fixed?

The next Repair Cafe in Yorktown will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Grace Lutheran Church.

Organizers said volunteer repair coaches will be available to help people make al possible repairs free of charge.

People can bring up to two broken items from home — nothing gas powered — and should pre-register via Sign-Up Genius to select a time to attend.

Registering in advance helps ensure there aren’t crowds of people waiting to be served.

Lamps, small appliances, bikes, clocks, fabrics, toys, wooden items, crockery, jewelry, computers and electronics are examples of things that can be brought to the Repair Cafe.

The volunteers usually have the know-how to determine whether your item can be repaired, organizers said, and if possible, make the repair.

Grace Lutheran Church is at 3830 Gomer St. in Yorktown Heights.
