Somers School Tax Bill Deadline Looming
There are multiple ways to pay your bill — if you haven't already paid it.

SOMERS, NY — The town of Somers is reminding its residents that the second half of the 2022-23 school tax bill is due Tuesday, Jan. 31.
Town officials said the last day to pay in person without penalty is Tuesday, Jan. 31.
The hours for the tax office are from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

According to an email from the receiver of taxes, there are multiple ways to pay your bill.
Online through the town of Somers website: The town accepts ACH and Credit Card payments through our online website. Follow this link to make your payment.

Online bill pay through your bank: Many banks offer online bill pay. You can pay your taxes this way by initiating the bank to mail a check in for your taxes. Just make sure it is made out to Michele McKearney, Receiver of Taxes, include your bill number and address in the memo portion of the check and mail in time to be received by Jan. 31.
Drop box: There is a drop box outside the side door of the Town Hall. Drop box hours are Monday- Friday from 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Please make sure to include your phone number and indicate if you would like a receipt mailed to you once processed.
Mail: When using the post office, make sure that your payment is postmarked by Jan. 31. If paying on the last day, have the post office hand stamp your envelope.
In person: If you would like to pay in person or are paying with cash, come to Town Hall Monday- Friday, 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
