11-Year-Old Shot In Drive-By Shooting In Northeast Charlotte

An 11-year-old child was shot when someone fired shots into a home in northeast Charlotte. Two other people were not injured in the home.

CHARLOTTE, NC — An 11-year-old child was shot Monday afternoon in northeast Charlotte, according to WBTV, when someone shot into a building.

The shooting happened on West Sugar Creek Road after 4 p.m. Monday, according to police. An eighteen-year-old man and a 17-year-old girl were also inside the building when shots were fired, but they were not injured in the shooting.

The 11-year-old was seriously injured and taken to the hospital.
