Baby Found Safe After AMBER Alert

The child was abducted by her mother, per police.

CHARLOTTE, NC — The baby at the center of a statewide AMBER alert Tuesday was found safe, according to the Randolph County Sheriff's Office.

Police received a tip about the vehicle Roxanne Parsons and her daughter were in and were able to pull that vehicle over in Climax, North Carolina, and take her into custody. The baby was returned to her legal custodian.

Parsons was arrested and taken to the Randolph County Detention Center. She was charged with felony abduction of a child, violating her probation and a total of $30,000 bond plus electronic house arrest.
