CHARLOTTE, NC — Back-to-school planning has already begun in the Charlotte metro, with calendars available to help parents prepare for the first day in Charlotte and throughout Mecklenburg County.

The first day of school for Charlotte-Mecklenburg School students is Wednesday, Aug. 25.
