Special highlights of the morning included Chris Mulcahy, Meteorologist with WCNC, kicking off the festivities serving as the emcee while Cheryl Calhoun, Chair of the Board for the American Lung Association awarding every participant with a medal when they completed their climb.

“Once again, this event proved to be as moving as it was rewarding for all who participated, young and old alike,” said Kate Garofalo, Executive Director of North Carolina for the American Lung Association. “Thank you to all of our participants, volunteers, and sponsors who came together to make a difference in the lives of people facing lung disease, lung cancer, and COVID-19.”
