Chesterbrook Academy® Students Plant Butterfly Garden for Earth Day

Students celebrate Earth Day by planting butterfly gardens to attract the beneficial pollinators to their schoolyard

On April 21, students at Chesterbrook Academy Preschool on Beverly Crest Boulevard in Charlotte celebrated Earth Day by planting two butterfly gardens in their schoolyard that they’ll maintain throughout the year. Students planted butterfly bushes and other plants to attract the beneficial bugs and were dressed for the occasion, wearing floral prints and tie dye. Chesterbrook Academy teaches the importance of community and exploring nature at an early age.
