"Charlotte is one of the largest markets included in a lawsuit against a realty company that deceived homeowners going through financial peril, the North Carolina Attorney General’s Office announced on Tuesday. According to the AG, MV Realty is accused of using prohibitive, unfair and deceptive practices by abusing phone solicitations and tricking homeowners into signing oppressive realty agreements," WGHP FOX8 Greensboro reports.   2. "Sweat440 is opening in NODA in early summer. SWEAT440 is a dynamic, tech driven 40 minute group fitness studio. It offers a combination of HIIT and resistance-based circuit training led by expert coaches. The small groups start every 10 minutes into the four stations set up. Each of the four stations lasts exactly 10 minutes and each contains a three-exercise circuit. As one small group ends at station four, another starts at station one, while each group moves to its respective next station," WCNC reports. (WCNC.com)
  3. "A very popular food cart in Uptown is opening its second brick-and-mortar location in Camp North End this summer. Husband and wife duo, Khuram and Damaris Bashir launched the Halal Food Cart in 2016 at the corner of Trade and Tryon streets in Uptown Charlotte, with a menu inspired by the family’s first restaurant in Michigan, Mi Barrio Halal Latin Grill," WCNC reports.   4. "The iconic and breath-taking Cirque du Soleil BAZZAR is coming to the Queen City. BAZZAR will make its third stop on the North American tour at Charlotte Motor Speedway under the Big Top from December 16, 2023 to January 12, 2024. This will mark Cirque du Soleil’s first tent show in Charlotte since the production of TOTEM in 2011. Cirque du Soleil BAZZAR, an eclectic lab of infinite creativity where a joyful troupe of acrobats, dancers and musicians craft an awe-inspiring spectacle.
