CHARLOTTE, NC — If ever there were a year demanding to kick off holiday celebrations early, it's 2020. This year, the glitz and sparkle of one of the region's largest Christmas light displays is returning to the Charlotte Motor Speedway Saturday, Nov. 21.

The 11th annual Speedway Christmas light show will feature more than 4 million lights spread out over a nearly 4-mile course, as well as a Christmas-themed drive-in theater.

Speedway Christmas is open most nights from Saturday, Nov. 21 through Sunday, Jan. 17, however, will be closed Christmas Day.

TICKETS

  • From Nov. 21 though Dec. 24, tickets are $25 per car Monday through Friday, and on Sunday. On Fridays and Saturdays, tickets are $30 per car. An Express Pass may be purchased for an additional $20.
  • From Dec. 26 through Dec. 29, tickets are $25 per car on Thursday and Sunday. On Friday and Saturday, tickets are $30 per car. An Express Pass may be purchased for an additional $20.
  • From Dec. 30 through Jan. 17, 2021, tickets are $20 per car. A $5 discount will be given to military, first responders and educators. An Express Pass may be purchased for an additional $20.
