Home Clean Heroes, the household cleaning franchise known for its mission of supporting first responders, is joining in the local effort to help the families of the police officers who died in last week’s shooting in Charlotte. Home Clean Heroes is asking customers to “round up” by adding $1-$20 to their cleaning services during the month of May. Those proceeds will be donated directly to the First Responders Children’s Foundation’s bereavement grant for the families.
On Monday, April 29th, a shootout during a fugitive warrant operation in Charlotte resulted in the tragic loss of three U.S. Marshal task force officers and a Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police officer, with four other officers sustaining injuries.
“This is a truly heartbreaking situation, and we want to do whatever we can to help the families involved with the tragedy in Charlotte,” said Home Clean Heroes President Joe Delatte. "Home Clean Heroes prides itself on supporting first responders throughout the year, and we are proud to support our longstanding partners in this meaningful way.”

"In times of tragedy, it's our duty to rally around those who selflessly protect and serve our community,” said Nick Gaydos, Owner of Home Clean Heroes of North Charlotte. “As a military veteran, whose family is deeply connected to Charlotte's first responder community, I understand the sacrifices made by these brave individuals and their families. By harnessing the power of our Heroes First initiative, we're not just cleaning homes; we're supporting the very backbone of our great city. Together, we stand strong for Charlotte."
