Online baby goods marketplace Stork Exchange opened a retail store in the McMullen Creek Shopping Center on March 1, 2022. The shop is the business’s first brick and mortar location.
The store features a selection of gently-used and open-box items (items that may have been opened but are unused and still in their original packaging) that the company also sells on their website, including high-end products like Uppababy strollers and Snoo bassinets. While these items can retail new for well over a thousand dollars, Stork Exchange offers them at up to 50% off the retail price.

Despite their online success, Stork Exchange’s owners realized the value in also having a physical space for their customers to visit. “Opening the store provides us with somewhere local parents can come in to drop off items they want to consign and get to touch the items we have for sale. It also gives us the opportunity to help educate our local community on the different options available to them.” says founder Ben Norment.
The Stork Exchange retail store is open Monday through Friday from 11AM to 4PM at 8328 Pineville Matthews Road. Their full collection is also available to shop online at www.storkexchange.co. New inventory is added to the site every Tuesday, via weekly “Stork Drops.”

Stork Exchange is an online marketplace for parents to easily buy and sell gently-used baby goods. Founded with the mission to help parents save money and live more sustainably, the site features a broad range of products such as strollers, high chairs, carriers, and bassinets in open-box or gently-used condition. Rather than scrolling through questionable listings on Craigslist or Facebook Marketplace and arranging inconvenient meetups, parents can now confidently browse accurate listings of products that have been thoroughly inspected and cleaned, check-out securely online, and have their purchases delivered right to their door.
