Man Sought In Christmas Day Homicide On Beatties Ford Road
Police are now seeking Bruce Japel Adams.
CHARLOTTE, NC — Shortly after 2 a.m. on Christmas Day, CMPD responded to the 2200 block of Beatties Ford Road and found two men shot. One was pronounced dead at the scene, later identified as Frederick Antonio Edwards, 28. The other man was taken to the hospital and treated.
Police are now seeking Bruce Japel Adams, 30.
According to police, Adams was identified as the suspect and the case was presented to Mecklenburg County Magistrate's office. Arrest warrants were issued for Adams for first degree murder and robbery with a dangerous weapon.
