Mecklenburg County Adds New COVID Vaccine Appointments
Mecklenburg County Public Health released a new batch of first-dose appointments available through the end of the month.
MECKLENBURG COUNTY, NC — New batches of appointments for first doses of coronavirus vaccine are now available in Charlotte, Mecklenburg County Public Health announced Tuesday.
The new appointment dates are for March 10 through March 31, 2021, and will be administered at the Bojangles Coliseum by StarMed Healthcare, MCPH said. The coliseum is located at 2700 East Independence Boulevard in Charlotte.
In addition to healthcare workers, those 65 and up, childcare workers and K-12 teachers, those eligible for the new round of appointments in March include Group 3 frontline essential workers who work in the following areas:

- Healthcare and public health
- Public safety
- Transportation
