Mecklenburg County Suspends Sale Of Russian Booze Amid Conflict
Mecklenburg County, which includes most Lake Norman towns and Charlotte, has suspended the sale of Russian alcohol amid Ukraine invasion.
MECKLENBURG COUNTY, NC — The Mecklenburg County Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) Board has suspended the availability of Russian booze options effective immediately. You also can't order any Russian specialty products per executive order 251.
This is due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

- Russian Standard - Original, Platinum, Gold, and Imperia
- Klin Spirits - Hammer & Sickle
- MHW/Beluga – Beluga Noble and Beluga Gold Line
- MHW/Symphony - Zyr Vodka
Suspensions will remain in effect until further notice and the ABC will continue to adhere to all state and federal regulations, according to the board.
