The single most pressing issue facing our (board, district, etc.) is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.
Education, i want to ensure parents have a choice in where their children attend school. I want more choices for parents in both schools and classes available.
Do you support Black Lives Matter and what are your thoughts on the demonstrations held since the death of George Floyd and the shooting of Jacob Blake?
No. I support people having the ability to protest and speak, but not to destroy other peoples property.
What are your thoughts on the campaign to "defund" the police?
I support the police. Both sides have room for improvement.
What are your thoughts on the state and national response to the coronavirus pandemic? Do you favor such measures as limiting operation of non-essential businesses or restricting indoor/outdoor dining? And do you favor a nationwide mask mandate?
i do not favor a nationwide mask mandate, as this is a state's right and I feel the shutting down of business not reasonable, I agree with the limiting amount of people and requesting people wearing masks, but we need to move forward and safely open the state
What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
I believe in small government and make small logical changes to reduce the effects of unintended consequences
If you are a challenger, in what way has the current board or officeholder failed the community (or district or constituency)
The current Representative is voting party lines, and not representing the district
Describe the other issues that define your campaign platform
Affordable health care , lets make sure government does not stand between you and your doctor. increase competition and access to health care providers which will help reduce cost
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
I am able to gather information form multiple sources and apply logic to make reasonable decisions. i want to bring logic and sensibility to government
If you win this position, what accomplishment would make your term in office as a success?
improve the quality of education and reduce the cost of health care
Why should voters trust you?
I am not a politician, I am a citizen like you and will not make this a career
What are your views on fiscal policy, government spending and the use of taxpayer dollars in the office you are seeking?
We have a spending problem in government. Taxes do not need to be increased just spending reduced
Is there any reason you would not serve your full term of office, other than those of health or family?
No
The best advice ever shared with me was:
two items never to get upset about: items you can change and items you can not change
What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
I want to listen to their concerns and issues
