NASCAR Clash At The Coliseum In LA Earns Record Viewership
The exhibition race shifted NASCAR teams from the southeast to the west coast with 23 cars racing on a football field in LA.

CHARLOTTE, NC — The NASCAR Busch Light Clash at The Coliseum in Los Angeles drew blockbuster ratings for the series, according to FOX.
A record 4,283,000 viewers tuned into FOX, up a whopping 168 percent over last year when the Clash aired on FS1.
It was the most watched Clash event since 2016, and even more than the 2021 NASCAR Cup Championship race at Phoenix which drew 3.2 million viewers.

A Charlotte resident actually traveled 2,400 miles to see the Clash in person.
The heat races prior to the Clash earned 2.5 million viewers, the most also since 2016.

The top five markets were Greensboro, North Carolina followed by Charlotte, then Indianapolis, Indiana, Norfolk, Virginia, and Tampa, Florida.
The next NASCAR race is at Daytona, Florida on February 20 for the annual Daytona 500.
