Police Search For Masked Arcade Armed Robbery Suspect

CHARLOTTE, NC — Charlotte police are asking for the community's help identifying a suspect they say robbed a business before dawn Saturday morning.

The incident occurred shortly before 5:30 a.m. at the Galaxy 1 Arcade, located at 3720 North Tryon Street.

"After entering the business, the suspect demanded property belonging to the business by the threat of a firearm," Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department said.

CMPD said the suspect was last seen wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and a surgical mask.

Police said anyone who recognizes the suspect is asked to call 9-1-1 immediately, or call Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600.
