Police Search For Missing 81-Year-Old Man With Cognitive Issues

CHARLOTTE, NC — Charlotte police are asking for the community's help locating a missing 81-year-old man who suffers from cognitive issues.

David Gary was reported missing around 3:30 p.m. after a family member called 911 to report his disappearance, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department said.

Gary, who is described as 5-foot, 8-inches tall and about 150 pounds, was last seen Oct. 5 around noon near 35th Street and The Plaza wearing a black long-sleeved shirt, brown pants, and a baseball cap, police said.

CMPD said anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call 911 immediately.
