  1. Food lovers in Charlotte can now celebrate a local spot recently named one of the tops in town! Chef and owner of the Restaurant Constance, Sam Diminich, shared his mission of supporting local farms and suppliers plus serving delicious meals in the neighborhood with Charlotte Today.   2. The Rosenberg Family announced the passing of Richard Rosenberg, the CEO of Charlotte-based Bank of America. Rosenberg is well known for accomplishing the bank's growth in the 90s, which later became the first national banking chain in the U.S. "Rosenberg was 92 and is survived by his wife, two sons, and five grandchildren."   3. Forty-one employees of Charlotte-based Coats American Inc. will be laid off on April 24. The manufacturer is located in Gaston County, and among the positions that will be discharged are two supervisors, six winding operators, and others. Officials declined to comment about the cut-off.   4. A Charlotte mother is demanding the school take action on an alleged assault against her five-year-old daughter on the school bus. The mother reported an incident in which an older boy asked the girl to kiss another boy. She refused, and then another student assaulted her. School officials said they couldn't take action until the investigation was complete. (Spectrum News)
