Search On For Missing 39-Year-Old Charlotte Man: CMPD

CHARLOTTE, NC — Charlotte police are asking for the community's help locating a 39-year-old Charlotte man who has not been seen by his family in a week.

Brian John Kemppainen was last seen Aug. 10 around 7:30 a.m. near his home in the 7700 block of Wingmont Drive in north Charlotte.

He is believed to be driving a black 2013 Harley-Davidson FLS Softtail Slim motorcycle with North Carolina license plate 6Z9083, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department said in a statement. He was also last seen wearing a red shirt and khaki shorts.

"Kemppainen's family says this behavior is unusual for Kemppainen and they are concerned for his wellbeing," CMPD said.

CMPD said anyone with information on Kemppainen's whereabouts is asked to call 9-1-1 immediately.
