Missing 90-Year-Old Charlotte Man Located, Reunited With Family

CHARLOTTE, NC — A 90-year-old Charlotte man reported missing Tuesday has been located and reunited with his family, according to police.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department ask for the community's help locating Herschel Best, 90, who was reported missing around 11:15 p.m. Dec. 1. He was last seen around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday night near the 6200 block of Hickory Cove Lane.

Best was believed to be driving a sea foam green Lincoln Town Car with a North Carolina tag number of SVN-8815. He is described as 5-foot, 10-inches tall about 140 pounds.

CMPD reported he was located Wednesday morning shortly before 10 a.m.
