Here are the top three stories today in Charlotte:

1. The Crime Stoppers police department is asking for information on a man in a UNC Tar Heels gear who stole money from a popular southwest Charlotte restaurant. A man was caught on video stealing money from Skyland Family Restaurant on South Blvd. on Apr. 28. If anyone has information about the theft, call Crime Stoppers at (704) 334-1600. (Newsbreak)
2. One person was killed on Wednesday in a deadly crash on I-485. The crash shut down a portion of I-485 in northeast Charlotte. As of the time of publication, North Carolina State Highway Patrol has not determined the cause of the crash. (WCNC.com)
