StarMed Is Donating 50 Meals Per COVID-19 Booster Shot Given

StarMed is working on helping people for the holidays along with providing booster shots.

CHARLOTTE, NC — StarMed, a Charlotte Urgent Care with two locations, is launching a "Boost Charlotte" campaign with a charitable twist.

In an effort to encourage COVID-19 booster shots, StarMed will donate 50 meals per booster shot given through the end of December. Booster shots are free to everyone.

The meals will go to the Second Harvest Food Bank which serves thousands of people in 24 counties in both North and South Carolina.

“A booster shot helps patients improve their defenses against COVID-19,” said Michael Estramonte, StarMed Healthcare CEO. “We’re happy to partner with Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina in this program to deliver meals to those in need in our communities. It is an experienced operation that has benefitted numerous families in the Carolinas."
