- Bed, Bath & Beyond will be closing at least one store in Charlotte. The company announced the plan to close The Arboretum location on Pineville-Mathews Road through its announcement to close 150 stores nationwide. The company has only released the first grouping of store closures that total 56 locations. (Charlotte Observer)
- TD Bank has announced a new expansion plan that will open 15 locations in Charlotte. The plan has all 15 locations opening by 2025. The first stores are scheduled to open in the middle of 2023 at 2020 Beatties Ford Road and 6611 Carmel Road. The bank is headquartered in Cherry Hill. (NJBIZ)
- The Charlotte International Arts Festival has officially kicked off in the Charlotte area. The festival has brought more than 200 different attractions to the community. The festival will be running through Oct. 2 at the Belk Theatre at Blumenthal Performing Arts Center. Click for a list of events occurring throughout the festival. (WCNC.com)
