Here are the top three stories in Charlotte today:

  1. The community is stunned following the deaths of 27-year-old twin Salisbury brothers in a Charlotte car crash. The accident occurred Sunday morning and killed three people, including James and John Woodson. The Woodson brothers were actors, singers, dancers, and skaters, and performed in Salisbury at The Norvell and Meroney Theaters. (WBTV)
  2. A 17-year-old suspect has been identified in the deaths of two teens. Devin Clark, 18, and Lyric Woods, 14, were found shot over the weekend. Officials have not released the name of the suspect and said they were not in custody as of the North Carolina Sheriff's Tuesday announcement on the matter. (WCCB Charlotte)
  3. Bomb threats have targeted several Charlotte-area schools this week. Hough High in Cornelius received a tip about a bomb threat they saw which was not necessarily directed at the school itself. Police also responded to a tip Wednesday about a non-specific bomb threat at North Mecklenburg High School in Huntersville. The threats and tips the provided through the CMS Say Something app. (Subscription: Charlotte Observer)
