Tyvola Lane Closed Until April Expected To Cause Major Delays
Pipes are being replaced and that means a traffic headache in the meantime.
CHARLOTTE, NC — Major improvements to wastewater pipes and water pipes will mean a slowdown for Charlotte drivers, according to Charlotte Water.
Westpark Drive is closed at Tyvola Road and only one eastbound lane of Tyvola Road will be open until April.
Customers will be detoured onto Old Pineville Road and Griffith Road, according to the water company.

That will mean a right turn only on Tyvola Road from McDonald's, 77 Center Drive and I-77 during much of the work.
