CHARLOTTE, NC — The Waterbean Coffee locations stretching from Charlotte to Lake Norman and even their store in Hickory raised thousands on Christmas Eve for the family of fallen officer Mia Goodwin.

Goodwin was killed just three days before Christmas when working a wreck on the interstate in Charlotte.

"We raised over $17,000 and we shattered every record as a company. We will make sure to personally deliver the check to the Goodwin Family when they’re ready. Merry Christmas everyone," Waterbean's owners posted on social media. "We have an incredible community."
