Windsor Run Residents Spread Cheer to Hourly Staff Members
Residents thank dedicated employees by contributing more than $160,000 to Staff Appreciation Fund of Erickson Senior Living community

‘Tis the season for cookies, cocoa, cheer—and recognizing staff members who go above and beyond for residents at Windsor Run, the Erickson Senior Living community in southeast Charlotte, N.C., every day!
The 2023 Staff Appreciation Fund (SAF), made possible through generous donations from warm-hearted residents, was dispersed on December 5 to eligible employees to thank them for providing industry-leading services that enhance the community’s engaging, worry-free lifestyle.
This year, Windsor Run residents contributed $160,330 to the SAF, which was distributed to 176 eligible employees.

“With the opening of a new independent living building, it has been an exciting and busy year at Windsor Run,” says Executive Director Michael Wehrle. “The Staff Appreciation Fund is a tangible way for residents to express gratitude to hourly employees who have touched their lives in the past year. The celebration on December 5 was a wonderful holiday afternoon for everyone to connect!”
The checks were distributed at a celebratory event arranged by the Resident Advisory Council complete with holiday tunes and delicious treats and drinks.
