Here are the top three stories in Marietta today:

  1. The Buckeye Hills Regional Council staff and its partners distributed more than 700 pairs of non-slip socks across Southeast Ohio. The distribution efforts were meant to raise awareness about fall prevention and protect older adults from injuries. Included with the non-slip socks were informational brochures that provided resources for elderly adults. (WV News)
  2. The West Virginia Symphony Orchestra returned to play in neighboring Parkersburg for the 35th year. The symphony orchestra played Christmas music for more than 400 people at the Blennerhassett Elementary School. (WTAP)
