📰 News we're reading
• Wheeling Central holds off Marietta behind 45 points from Eli Sancomb (wtap.com) — Marietta High’s boys basketball team fell 86-75 at home to Wheeling Central Catholic, despite big scoring nights from Owen Riley, Zaiden Wittekind, Trey Hawkins, and Logan Grosklos. The Tigers repeatedly cut into the Maroon Knights’ lead, but West Virginia standout Eli Sancomb’s 45 points and late Wheeling Central baskets kept Marietta from completing the comeback.
